Description
This elegant George V silver vesta case is dated Birmingham 1910 and was made by W.H. Sparrow. Of curved square form, the slender body with engine-turned decorations surrounding a vacant roundel. The interior retaining its rich gilt wash. The base with textured striker. the side with ring attachment.Hallmarks:
W.H.S for William Henry Sparrow.
Birmingham Assay mark.
Lion Passant.
Date letter "l" for 1910.
