Description
This superb quality Arts & Craft spot-hammered silver bowl was most certainly made by A. E. Jones for the retailers Bruford & Sons. It is dated London 1933. The circular twin-handled silver bowl standing on four satyr mask hoof feet and with pierced lattice and floral decoration just below the rim. Finished with a lightly hammered surface and with comfortable finger plates immediately above the handles.A.E. Jones produced pieces for other silversmiths and retailers. This is definitely one of his designs.

Lion Passant.
London Assay mark.
Date letters "s" for 1933.
